The real moment can be the second try.

Start with the moment that comes next

Not a generic social-skills lesson.

The lunch table. A changed plan. A first shift. Saying no. Pick one of 41 authored rehearsals and make the next real moment a second try, not the first.

The Flight Path

The same moment, at the depth they choose.

Warm-Up Bay

The full script stays visible. Rehearse a first line, a next move, and an exit with the least uncertainty.

Solo Flight

Cue cards replace the script. Your teen chooses their own words, with a prompt there when they want it.

Cross-Country

Go off-script and meet a variation. The controls remain: pause, type instead, or leave at any point.

Ground-crew scenarios also let teens warm up on everyday machines — including self-checkout, ticket machines, an ATM, a laundromat washer and automated phone menus.

Autism-affirming by architecture

It cannot grade your teen for being autistic.

Hangar rehearses a situation. It does not train a teen to perform to someone else’s script, and it does not turn comfort or body language into a score.

No masking score

Eye contact, tone, pauses and stimming are never graded.

The other person can be wrong

Replays can name the character’s misread instead of turning every mismatch into your teen’s mistake.

Agency stays with the teen

They choose the goal, voice or typing, practice depth, sensory settings and when the scene ends.

No streaks or shame

Nothing empties, resets or nags them back. Leaving early always counts.

Private by design

A hard conversation does not need an audience.

Raw voice stays on the device

Speech becomes text on the iPhone or iPad and the audio is discarded immediately — it is never uploaded or stored.

No advertising profile follows your teen

No account, advertising or cross-app tracking. Goals, flights and the logbook stay on the device; content-free service diagnostics expire after 30 days.

Straight answers

Before you download Hangar

Can I try it without paying?

Yes. The free plan includes three flights each week, all 41 authored rehearsals and every safety feature. Premium only lifts the weekly limit; the App Store shows your current local price before purchase.

Is Hangar therapy or a medical device?

No. Hangar is designed as a general-wellness practice tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional care.

Does a teen have to speak?

No. Voice and typing are equal paths, captions are available, and a teen can pause, switch to typing or stop a flight at any time.

Does the AI become a friend or remember my teen?

No. Characters exist only inside bounded authored scenarios that end. They do not message first or build a personal profile between flights.

Is Hangar an emergency or monitoring service?

No. Hangar is private rehearsal, not crisis monitoring or emergency support. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
