Hangar · Support
We’re here when you need a hand.
Hangar is a private place to rehearse everyday social moments. Here is how to reach us, manage a subscription, delete local data, and find urgent help outside the app.
Available on the App Store · last updated 2026-07-12.
What Hangar is
Hangar is a calm flight simulator for real life: pick a moment, rehearse it out loud or by typing with gentle AI characters, then replay it with the other person’s signals decoded. It’s built for autistic and neurodivergent teens and the families around them, and it’s affirming by design — no scores, no streaks, and leaving a scene early always counts as a valid landing.
Hangar is available on the App Store. It is a general-wellness practice tool — not therapy or a medical device — and does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional care.

If you need urgent help right now
Hangar is not a crisis service and cannot help in an emergency. If you or someone you’re with is in danger, please contact one of the services below. If there is immediate danger to life, call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 000 in Australia) now.
Free, confidential crisis support
- 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US) — call or text 988, or chat at 988lifeline.org. 24/7.
- Crisis Text Line — text HOME to 741741 (US). 24/7.
- The Trevor Project (LGBTQ+ young people, US) — call 1-866-488-7386, or visit thetrevorproject.org. 24/7.
- Kids Helpline (Australia, ages 5–25) — call 1800 55 1800, or visit kidshelpline.com.au. 24/7.
Subscriptions
Hangar is free to use for three flights each week across every authored rehearsal and safety feature. Hangar Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription that lifts the weekly limit. Your current local price and any eligible trial are shown by Apple before you confirm. Apple bills and manages the subscription through your Apple Account; no safety feature sits behind the paywall.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Hangar, then cancel or change the plan.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium continues until the end of the period already paid for. Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com. On a new device, open Hangar’s paywall and choose Restore Purchases.
Delete your local data
Open Settings inside Hangar and choose Delete all data to erase goals, flights, and the logbook from the device. Deleting Hangar also removes its on-device data.
Your data
Hangar stores goals, flights, and the logbook on the device, with no account or server copy. Voice is recognised on-device and the audio is discarded immediately. Live-flight text follows the disclosed AWS and OpenAI service flow; see the Privacy Policy for retention and service-limit details.
